“Finn! Do you possibly have a hat I could borrow? My ears are getting chilled and I can’t risk any damage to them for fear of becoming tone deaf!”, Jesse softly yelled to Finn as he saw him exit his house. Finn always managed to look warm and comfortable in his clothing, something Jesse was jealous of at the moment.
“Yeah, of course!” Finn said, ecstatically, running back into his house, and coming back with a purple-checkered hat for the older attractive boy. He put it on Jesse’s head, softly, and smiled, as Jesse looked off- not expecting Finn to put it on him.
Jesse patiently waited outside of what he was hoping was Finn’s home. He had his hands crammed into his leather jacket and his scarf was blowing in the slight breeze, it was getting chillier as the days passed, winter was approaching quickly.
Jesse was feeling nervous for the walk, it was a split second decision but he wanted to make things better with Finn, he seemed like a good guy and a decent friend and he felt uneasy with the way he had treated him upon finding out about the sex dream. He just hoped Finn wouldn’t read into this at all.
Finn got his plaid winter coat out of his closet, and started heading downstairs. As he got his shoes on, his heart started beating a thousand miles per-minute. He was so nervous, after what had happened on Tumblr, on that awkward Wednesday night. He opened his door to see a cold Jesse St. James on his driveway.
Matt: Even straight guys can have that one guy they're into, but I dunno, man. I don't wanna say give up, but maybe you should try with someone else while you figure out if he's for real not interested or just fronting.
Finn: But who could I try with? I mean, it's kinda hard to find a not-straight person in Lima, ya'know?
Matt: Uh, no, not as hard as you think. Wasn't that boys school really gay-friendly? I mean, I went to some of their parties before I went to Wenthworth's, and it was mostly guy-on-guy, with some straight stuff in the back.
Finn: I guess not, but I think, if he is gay, that he hides it so people will be convinced with his boy/girl roles.
Matt: You know Neil Patrick Harris is gay, right? And he plays like the straightest guy on TV?
Finn: Yeah, I know. Oh gosh, he's at my house. We're gonna take a walk. I'm so nervous.
Matt: Uh, not to stereotype, but he's a theatre major.
Finn: I know, I mean, ugh. I don't even know.
